FREEDOM'S HEROES OUTDOOR MEMORIAL
We
are mindful of social distancing protocols. Please do not visit or
attend any ceremonies if you are sick or uncomfortable congregating at
this time. Feel free to wear a mask, but it is not required.
Open to the Public Daily May May 23rd, 2021 through May 31st, 2021, 7am to 9pm
Location: 2620 Colusa Hwy, Yuba City, CA
The
Freedom's Heroes Memorial is an outdoor monument honoring those
American heroes who gallantly died serving our country during Operations
Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Freedom's Sentinel,
Odyssey Lightning, U.S. Central Command Operations, U.S. Africa Command
Operations, Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Resolute Support.
The 21 panels of the memorial will bear the names of the Fallen
Warriors who have given their lives from the beginning of this war
through April 30, 2021.
This memorial, dedicated to those fighting for liberty in Afghanistan
and Iraq, is once again coming to Yuba City at the Calvary Christian
Center campus.
By displaying the Freedom's Heroes/War on Terror Memorial to our
community, we are giving many people the opportunity to see and
experience the cost of our freedoms.

Memorial Day weekend, join us for one of the largest gatherings of
veterans in the country to honor the men and women who have purchased
our freedom at the patriotic ceremonial tribute, A Grateful Nation
Remembers. TWO CEREMONY DATE/TIMES: Sunday, May 30th at 10am & Monday, May 31st at 12pm Celebrated Highlights: ˜ Honor and Recognition of Veterans and Military Personnel Including Heroes Serving in the War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan ˜ Presentation at Six-Panel Replica of The Vietnam Wall ˜ Tribute at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier ˜ Dramatic Military Reenactments ˜ Display of uparmored Humvees, current and vintage military vehicles ˜
Due to limited seating capacity, children under 11 will not be
admitted. Children's activities provided on campus during all ceremonies
